The legend Teddy Pendergrass -- May his soul rest in peace

We're losing legends who made GREAT music. No vulgar/graphic songs, but sensual great music. Legends like Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Lou Rawls, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Ocean & many many more should be praised for always & forever for what they've contributed to music. They were what real music is about .. the foundation of what we should be listening to today.

I remember being a little girl going through my mom's LP's & have her yell at me that i better NOT be touching her LP player =) As i grew older people my age found it strange that i listened to Motown music while older people could appreciate having convo's about music that they thought i knew nothing about.

Unfortunately this generation can't appreciate the old school soul music & we're totally obsessed with filthy, obscene, vulgar & dirty lyrics and music video's. It's sad that our children won't grow up knowing what good music is unless a sample of a legend is used on a Lil Wayne or Plies track.

However i really thank them & appreciate the gift they gave us .. we're absolutely blessed that their music lives on. Thank you!
